Separation anxiety is a huge umbrella term for the distress responses of an animal when left alone. The welfare issues are not just that of the dogs, but of the owners too, who may be facing huge financial implications if the dog is destructive, or a dog sitter is required whenever they go out.
I have a BSc (Hons) in Applied Animal Behaviour from the University of Portsmouth and a Foundation Degree in Applied Canine Behaviour and Training from the University of Hull and have been actively training puppies and adult dogs for over seven years in both one-to-one and group class settings.
I can help you work through any undesirable behaviour issues; such as puppy mouthing, and biting, reactivity issues in fearful, shy and excitable dogs that may present with lunging and barking and separation-related problems.
You can find out more about me here and if you are having a behaviour issue with your dog I would be happy to have a chat, you can contact me here any time.
